Robichaud High School offers the following educational programs:
 
New Tech Program
, student engage in project-based learning by infusing a smart use of technology with a culture that promotes trust, respect, and responsibility. 
 
Academy of Engineering (AOE) Program , students engage in project-based learning.  This is a STEM program which places a strong emphasis on science, technology, engineering and math.

Prep Program, students engage in a rigorous traditional learning curriculum.  This program embraces Community Service and Internships as a way to educate the whole student. 

College Ambition Program (CAP) , through a partnership with Michigan State University, where students in grade 9-12 prepare to attend college by going on college tours, meeting with college admission counselors, and attending college and career fairs. Students also apply for scholarships and grants to make college more affordable.  This program also offers ACT Prep, tutoring, and college readiness classes.

Dual Enrollment Program,  through a partnership with the University of Michigan - Dearborn and Henry Ford Community College

Gear Up Program, through a partnership with the University of Michigan's  offering college and career opportunities to our 10th grade students

Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program, where student can learn more about a variety of careers and participate in off-campus courses with established partnerships.

Advanced Placement (AP) Courses, where students can receive college credits in high school.

    OCTOBER
    o    31st - 1st Quarter Ends on Friday, October

                   - Students MUST be in full dress code on Friday,               

                      Halloween paint or clothing is NOT PERMITTED

                  - AOE Safe Halloween - 10/31/14 from 6-8 :$5 entry fee

    NOVEMBER
    o    1st - Varsity Championship Football Game at     1:00pm in our stadium

    o   2nd - Daylight Savings Time  - turn clocks back 1 hour

    o   3rd - 7th : College Application Week

    o   4th - NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS : Election Day

    o   11th - ACT ASPIRE testing for 11th Graders

    o   13th - Parent/Teacher Conferences for Quarter 1 from 5:00 - 7:00 (Cafeteria)

    o   14th - NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS: Parent/Teacher Conferences 8:15am - 11:00am and 12:00pm - 3:05pm (Cafeteria)

    o   18th - Honor Roll Celebration 2:00pm - 3:00pm
                  - Robichaud and Tomlinson FALL CONCERT 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the auditorium

    o   19th - ACT ASPIRE Testing for 10th Graders
                  - Drama Production "So You Want To Be A Cheerleader" 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the Auditorium

    o   20th - ACT ASPIRE Testing for 9th Graders
                  - Drama Production "So You Want To Be A Cheerleader" 7:00pm - 8:00pm in the Auditorium

    o   26th - 1/2 DAY FOR STUDENTS: 7:45am - 11:30am

    o   27th and 28th - NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS AND STAFF: Thanksgiving Break

  • NWEA Fall Testing - 10/6/14 - 10/22/14
    Students will be taking the NWEA Test (Northwest Evaluation Association) from October 6th to October 22nd.  This research-based, computerized assessment helps educators answer questions about student learning.  The test results inform teachers, students and parents on strengths and weaknesses and helps teachers to develop a personalized education plan for students.
Dress Code at Robichaud High School

In order to promote our "College and Advanced Career Going Culture" at Robichaud High School, we need to prepare our students to be our nation's future leaders.  By creating a professional learning environment, we are preparing our students for their exciting future beyond high school.

The 2014-2015 Dress Code is as follows for both Young Men and Young Women:
Student ID - Every student in school during school hours must wear a visible School ID
Shoes - Closed toe shoes, any color
Pants - Black or Khaki colored (light brown)Pants
Belt - Black, white, or brown belt 
Shirts - Black, White, or Red "collared" shirt (polo or button-up) 
    *Shirts should be tucked into the pants
   * Logos on shirt can not be larger than a tennis ball
   * Red, Black, or White Sweaters and Fleeces can be worn over collared shirts - No Hoods Allowed
   * Button-up shirts in red and white can be purchased in the main office for $10

All book bags MUST be kept in each student's INDIVIDUAL locker during school hours.
All Purses MUST NOT exceed the size of a sheet of paper.

 

 

Robichaud in the news
10/27/14 :
Robichaud 's Varsity Football team is currently 8-1.  We are headed to the playoffs for our conference.

 
3/17/14:

Robichaud High School's Academy of Engineering Program received 3rd place this past weekend in the  ten 80 Student Racing Challenge at Cass Tech.  Robichaud High School's team has advanced to the Nation Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina.

2/5/14:

Robichaud High School Signing Day: 

Malachi Manion and Aaron Thompson both signed student-athlete letters of intent to participate in football for the fall season of 2014.  Aaron will attend Hudson Valley College in New York and Malachi St. Francis in Fort Wayne Indiana.
